I wish to inform you that the new Linux Kernel (vanilla) has been released, reaching the 2.6.25 major release. The new Linux Kernel can be downloaded from kernel.org website. The changelog related to this new Kernel version can be seen following this link. |
In these days I have updated my photo gallery adding some experimental pictures from Conero Coast (Italy). Unfortunately, the light conditions were not very good but, I think that these pictures show anyway the beauty of this landscape.

Yesterday, the new Ubuntu 8.04 (Beta version), code name Hardy Heron, has been released. This first Ubuntu Hardy Heron Beta version, has been released after 6 Alpha version.
It is possible to download the new ISO image of Ubuntu 8.04 (Beta versione) from this link.
Yesterday, KDE 4.0.2 has been officially released. The major improvements in this release include: a better stability of the whole system; new features in Plasma and a better localisation. In addiction, several stability issues have been fixed in Kopete and Okular.

DBin 2.0 Alpha, Released

After several months of hard works, we have released a first alpha version release of DBin 2.0. Other then including numerous bug-fixes, the new Dbin version not use any more the P2P system. DBin 2.0 is based on a graph-publishing model mechanism. To try the new DBin version, you can freely download it from the official web site.
Today the new release-candidate of the long-awaited desktop environment, KDE 4.0, has been released. If you want to try the new release-candidate, I inform you that packages and live-cd for some Linux distributions are already available, in particular:
