Yesterday, Fring, a well-known application for mobile devices which support a lot of Instant Messaging protocols (like MSN, ICQ, etc.), has been officially released on the AppStore. Fring allows user to make VoIP calls by wi-fi networks using SkypeOut os any SIP accounts. The new version of Fring is available for iPhone 2G/3G and it is totally free. |

Currently, Fring supports the followings IM protocols:
- Skype
- MSN Messanger
- ICQ
- SIP
- Google Talk
- Twitter (solo chat)
- Yahoo (solo chat)
- AIM (solo chat)
As you can see from the second pictures, I tested this new version of Fring using my Skype, MSN and SIP accounts and I didn’t discover particular problems. About VoIP calls…everything seem ok but I’d like to test it better.
