Today the new release-candidate of the long-awaited desktop environment, KDE 4.0, has been released. If you want to try the new release-candidate, I inform you that packages and live-cd for some Linux distributions are already available, in particular:

• Kubutnu KDE 4.0 RC2
• Mandriva KDE 4.0 RC2 (i386)
• OpenSuse KDE 4.0 RC2
